The CLARIT trial has reached an important milestone with the enrollment of its first patients in Spain.
The first three patients were enrolled by Dr. Alfonso Jurado Román and the team at La Paz University Hospital in Madrid, marking the start of patient recruitment in Spain for this international randomized clinical study.
As the Contract Research Organization (CRO) for CLARIT, CERC is pleased to support the conduct of this study, which evaluates an innovative drug-coated balloon strategy for patients with coronary artery disease.
Led by Principal Investigator Prof. O'Kane, the CLARIT trial is sponsored by CERIC and supported by Philips. This milestone represents another important step in the study and reflects the commitment of the investigators and study teams involved across participating centres.
